A full list of available staking options can be found at bitcoinvn.io/staking. Staked funds on BitcoinVN are represented as separate tokens, prefixed with a lowercase "s".
How to stake
- Pick the digital asset you wish to stake. Let's assume you want to stake Bitcoin Cash, so you click "Stake BCH". This will lead you to the swap form with BCH → sBCH as preselected values. You could deposit something else if you wish, but we would advise depositing the actual asset you want to stake in order to avoid any conversion fees. Click "Swap" when you're ready.
- You will be prompted to make a deposit (unless you deposited funds from your BitcoinVN account balance, in which case the process is already finished). Follow the instructions on the order page to make the payment from your wallet. The deposited amount is staked as soon as your payment gets confirmed.
How the APR is calculated
- vol = yearly exchange volume extrapolated based on last 3 months (USD)
- tvl = total value locked (USD)
- dis = distribution percentage (typically 0.5% [0.005])
Calculation: apr = 100 / (tvl / (vol * dis))
